What actually lands on your floor

A machine that needs nothing but a socket

The product is digital, so there is no stock to hold, no cash to collect, nothing to expire and nothing worth stealing. Visitors serve themselves; your team never has to touch it.

  • The hardware

    An Android kiosk with a landscape screen, plus a separate Viva.com bank terminal beside it. It takes about a square metre and runs off an ordinary mains socket — it draws about as much power as two phone chargers. Everything is operated by touch.

  • What the visitor does

    Picks a language and a service, enters a few details, pays by card on the terminal, then watches the AI write the reading on screen for 20–60 seconds. That live writing is what keeps people there to the end.

  • What they take away

    A QR code leading to the full PDF and, if they paid for it, a 1024×1536 art poster. People forward images like that to friends, so the kiosk quietly advertises itself.

The range

Five paid products, all of them live

Different reasons to buy: a personal forecast, a couple, self-knowledge, a bit of fortune-telling. The prices below are defaults — any of them can be changed across the whole fleet in seconds.

    Horoscope

    A personal forecast from a date of birth, with up to 11 sections to choose from: tomorrow, week, month, year, love, money, health, friendship, lucky numbers, colour and amulet, best days.

    Natal chart

    A chart for the date, time and place of birth: planets, houses and aspects drawn out, plus a long interpretation covering the Big Three, the houses and their rulers, key aspects and life themes.

  • €3.99

    Tarot reading

    The visitor asks a question, picks a 3- or 5-card spread and physically draws the cards on screen. Each position is then interpreted separately. It is the most theatrical product in the range.

  • €0.99 per aspect

    Compatibility

    Two sets of birth details and up to six aspects of the relationship: love and feelings, passion, marriage and family, partnership, friendship, communication. An obvious February peak.

  • €0.99 per section

    Name reading

    First name, surname and second surname read as a “code of destiny” across seven sections on character, strengths and life pattern. Works even without a birth date.

  • Numerology

    Reserved for a future release. The screen is not built, the service is not sold on the kiosk and it is not shown to customers — we do not count it as part of the offer.

Default prices, VAT included. The customer always sees a “−50%” frame: the struck-through original next to the final price. Every price is remote configuration — changed from the admin panel across the fleet, with no app update.

Just before paying, the customer is offered the result as a 1024×1536 art poster, drawn by AI around their own reading. One tap adds it to the bill.

Straight answer: the poster is live for the horoscope, tarot, natal chart and name reading. For compatibility it is not finished yet, so the kiosk simply hides the offer rather than selling something we cannot deliver.

Revenue = transactions per day × average ticket × 30. Variable cost = 6% of revenue (AI plus card processing, taken at the top of the modelled range). Left = revenue − variable cost − rent. Payback = €1,500–2,500 of hardware ÷ what is left × 4.345 weeks per month.

This is an illustrative calculation on assumptions you chose. It is not a revenue forecast and not a promise of any income. The outcome depends on the footfall of the location, the season and the prices you agree. We have no verified figures yet, because no kiosk has been installed.

    All of the kiosk revenue is yours, and out of it you pay the venue and the software licence — a flat €69 per kiosk per month, with no cut of your turnover. The better the location, the more of it stays with you rather than with us.

Getting started

From first e-mail to a working location

Roughly two to four weeks. “Roughly” is not a hedge for its own sake: we have not done a first installation yet and would rather not promise an exact date.

  1. 1–2 days

    Enquiry and a call

    You send a couple of lines about the location, we reply the same day and set up a 20-minute call: what kind of venue, what footfall, which format suits you. Afterwards we send a calculation built on your numbers.

  2. 1–2 weeks

    Agreement and installation

    We settle the terms, the exact spot and the look, bring the kiosk and terminal, plug them in and test a real card payment. Preparing and configuring the hardware is on us.

  3. from then on

    It runs without you

    Prices, services and updates are changed remotely. Your staff need no training and maintain nothing: physically, all it asks for is a wipe of the screen.

The legal side

There is no licence for this activity in Spain

The second question after "what does it make" is "is this even allowed". Short answer: in the EU a licence means clearance for a regulated activity — pharmacies, alcohol, tobacco, food service, finance. Astrology and digital content are not on that list, and automatic retail in Spain has been deliberately liberalised. Below is what genuinely has to be filed, with no gloss and no "leave it to us".

What you do not have to obtain

  • There is no sector licence for "astrology services" — neither Spanish nor European. Nothing can be issued, because the activity is not classed as regulated.
  • There is no separate permit for the vending machine itself: the EU Services Directive and the Spanish retail trade act removed prior-authorisation regimes for automatic sales.
  • No municipal licence is needed while the kiosk stands on private property — a mall, hotel, bar, gym or salon.

What genuinely has to be filed

  1. 01

    A tax activity code

    The company or autónomo registers under the right IAE epígrafe. For a machine that is usually 664 — retail through automatic devices — or 969.7 — other automatic machines, where the device delivers a service. Which one fits your structure is a question for your gestor: a fifteen-minute conversation, not a project.

  2. 02

    A receipt for the customer, and sales records

    Payment runs on the Viva bank terminal, which issues the card confirmation; the customer collects the reading and its documents from a QR code. Invoicing has to run on software compatible with Veri*Factu: from 1 January 2027 for corporate income tax payers and from 1 July 2027 for autónomos.

  3. 03

    The right to stand where it stands

    On private property an ordinary lease or space-cession contract (cesión de espacio) with the owner is enough — we supply the template. If the kiosk faces the street or any other public space, the town hall has to grant an autorización or concesión for occupying the vía pública.

  4. 04

    Information displayed on the machine

    The retail trade act requires the machine to show the type of service and its price, the identity of the operator, an address and telephone number for complaints, and a way to get the money back if the service was not delivered. It is an installation checklist item: an on-screen page or a plate on the housing.

What we carry

  • Personal data under the GDPR: the name and date of birth are processed on our side — no customer data is ever stored by the venue
  • The legal frame of the sale: the entertainment disclaimer is shown before payment, and a purchase from a vending machine is not a distance contract, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to it (RDL 1/2007, art. 93)
  • The customer’s documents: PDF and poster over a QR code, payment confirmation on the terminal
  • Hardware, connectivity, updates and remote monitoring of the fleet

What stays with the operator

  • Registering the activity, the IAE epígrafe and the tax filings
  • The contract for the spot — or the town hall permit if it is on the street
  • The operator details and complaints contact on the kiosk

Provide the space and you need no permit at all

The activity, the taxes and the liability for the machine sit with the operator, not with the venue. You need no new epígrafe, no separate permit and no amendment to your own licence: the kiosk does not change what your business does, it occupies about a square metre under a space-cession contract. Signing that contract is the only paperwork on your side.

This is orientation, not legal advice. Requirements differ between autonomous communities and municipalities, and the Veri*Factu deadlines have already moved twice. We are not lawyers and do not pretend to be: take this checklist to your gestor — it was written for exactly that conversation.

The fleet is run from a browser

This is not a roadmap. Everything listed here is built and running in the app and the admin panel today, which is precisely why adding one more kiosk costs almost nothing.

The marginal operating cost of one more kiosk is close to zero.

  • Prices and services, remotely

    The price of every product, the set of enabled services and the default language are edited in the web console. A new price reaches the whole fleet in seconds, with no app update.

  • Live monitoring

    Every kiosk reports in: who is online, whose screen is off, who has dropped out and which app version is installed — plus diagnostics for the network and the link to the payment terminal.

  • Over-the-air updates

    A new version installs silently over the network, with percentage rollout, rollback and the ability to pin a version to one kiosk. Nobody has to drive to the site.

  • Locked-down kiosk mode

    The app cannot be minimised or closed, it restarts itself after a power cut and the screen never sleeps. Outside your opening hours the screen can be blanked on a schedule while staying online.

  • Payment sits outside the kiosk

    Cards are taken on a separate certified Viva.com terminal. The kiosk itself has no card reader and holds no payment data — less risk and far less certification.

  • Failure handling

    If the AI provider is overloaded, generation switches to the backup automatically. If a reading breaks after payment, it resumes exactly where it stopped and the customer is never charged twice.

The ideal setting is somebody already standing and waiting — for a flight, a room, a screening, a queue. Below is how we are prioritising locations for the pilot.

These ratings are our own prioritisation for the pilot, reasoned from footfall — not measured data. Your venue may well perform better than we assume.

No varnish

Plainly: we are at the beginning

Not one kiosk is standing in a shopping centre yet. The product, though, is not a slide deck: the app is built, five services sell, the terminal takes payment, the PDF and the poster reach the phone, and the fleet is managed from the admin panel. Exactly one thing is missing — the first location.

So there are no testimonials here, no partner logos, no press mentions and no “thousands of happy customers”. We do not have them, and inventing them is the fastest way to lose a partner at the second meeting. What we do have is a working product and a financial model open enough for you to recalculate yourself.

In return, the first partners get what later ones will not: priority terms, influence over the product, and a location in a city where nothing like it is standing yet. We are as interested as you are in your specific site selling — not the fleet average.

Risks we would rather raise ourselves

The likelihood ratings are our own judgement. They are subjective and will be revised after the pilot.

  • Conversion is unproven in a live location

    Likelihood: High

    What we do about it: It is the biggest unknown in the model. The 2–3 kiosk pilot exists precisely to measure it before anything is scaled.

  • Weak footfall at a specific site

    Likelihood: Medium

    What we do about it: We assess the spot before installing, try different positions inside the building and different prices. If it still does not work, we move the kiosk rather than argue with the numbers.

  • AI provider outage

    Likelihood: Low

    What we do about it: Generation fails over to a backup provider automatically; the customer never notices the switch.

  • Payment terminal unavailable

    Likelihood: Low

    What we do about it: The terminal is independent of the kiosk. The kiosk shows a clear message instead of taking payment and keeps running, and we can see the link to the terminal in remote diagnostics.

  • Paid, then generation failed

    Likelihood: Low

    What we do about it: Generation is resumable: a retry finishes only the unfinished sections, with no second charge and no wasted tokens.

  • Someone copies the idea

    Likelihood: Medium

    What we do about it: The defence is not the idea but the speed of signing locations and the fleet tooling that already exists. A copy starts without either.

  • Attitudes to astrology and regulation

    Likelihood: Low

    What we do about it: The service is positioned as entertainment, the disclaimer is shown before purchase, and the no-refund rule for a delivered digital product is stated up front.

Short answers

How much space does it need?

About one square metre: the kiosk itself and a small payment terminal next to it. All we need from you is a mains socket — the kiosk brings its own connectivity, and it draws about as much power as two phone chargers.

Do my staff have to do anything?

No. The customer does everything, the money goes through the bank terminal and nobody needs training. The only physical task is wiping the screen roughly once a month.

What if it freezes or breaks?

The app runs in a locked-down mode and restarts itself; we see the state of every kiosk remotely and fix almost everything over the network. If the hardware fails we replace it at our cost, and response times for the pilot are written into the agreement.

Who receives the customers’ money, and how do I see my share?

Payments go through the bank terminal into our acquiring account. For your location you receive a transaction report for the period, and the revenue share is calculated from it. If a flat rent is simpler for you, we do that instead and no share is needed.

What if it does not sell?

On a flat rent you lose nothing. On a revenue share we look at the first month together, try a different spot in the building and different prices — those change remotely in seconds. If that still fails, we take the kiosk away and you pay nothing.

Will it cheapen the look of my venue?

The kiosk is styled as a premium object rather than a fairground booth: dark tones, gold, calm animation, no flashing lights. Before purchase the customer sees a note that the service is for entertainment. We agree the finish and the exact position with you before installing.

What about the legal side and refunds?

What is sold is a digital entertainment service, and that is stated on screen before payment. The result is delivered immediately, so there are no refunds, and the customer is told so in advance. With the venue we sign a written agreement.

Which languages does the kiosk speak?

Russian, English, Spanish and Ukrainian. The language is switched with one tap on the home screen and the reading is generated in that language — which matters in airports and tourist malls.

How long does a customer stand there?

Entering the details takes under a minute, the text is generated in 20–60 seconds and they can watch it being written. Then they scan the QR and leave to finish reading on their phone, so no queue builds up.

How soon could we go live?

Roughly two to four weeks from the first e-mail: a day or two for the call and the calculation, then the agreement and the installation. We give an exact date once we have seen the location.
